Dear AMS Families,
 This is principal Angela Wichers with this week’s updates,
 

• School resumes tomorrow!
• Congratulations!  223 students earned their ticket to the Snow Cone Party for regular attendance!  For second quarter, students who have 30 days of consecutive attendance from October 13- December 12 will earn a ticket to the Cocoa and Cookies Party on December 18th.
• The fall dance is October 31st at 2:30 pm.  Cost to enter is $1.00 or a can of food for the pantry.  Students must have good behavior and good attendance to attend. The dance is during school hours and for AMS students only.
• Halloween, October 31st is a school Day.  Please be thoughtful if you will allow your child to wear their costume to school. Costumes can get dirty/damaged at school.   Students who dress up must meet the following requirements: 
  • We must be able to see their face (no masks)
  • Students must wear shoes
  • Students must leave accessories at home (sickles, costume guns, chainsaws, etc.)         
  • Students must be able to sit in a school desk, complete work, etc. while in their costumes   
• Picture re-takes are Monday November 3rd.  All students who are new to AMS since September 8th will have their picture taken.  Students can pick up a picture order form in the office.
