We are proud to offer the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program, a transformative college and career readiness initiative. AVID equips students with the skills and support they need to excel in rigorous academic environments and achieve their dreams. Through personalized learning plans, a dedicated AVID elective class, and a school wide commitment to excellence, our students develop critical thinking, organization, and leadership skills. 

At Amphi Middle School, students in grades 6–8 stay with the same advisory cohort throughout all three years, creating a strong sense of community, consistency, and support. This structure allows students to build lasting relationships with their peers and advisory teacher, fostering trust, belonging, and personal growth. It’s a safe space where students can set goals, reflect on progress, and receive guidance, helping them thrive both academically and socially during these formative years.

Our school is proud to offer the ACHIEVE program through the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program, a federally funded initiative that provides enriching after-school and summer learning opportunities for students and families. Through this grant, we offer academic support, hands-on enrichment activities, and family engagement programs that extend learning beyond the traditional school day. Whether it’s tutoring, STEM projects, arts, or leadership development, 21st CCLC helps students grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe, supportive environment. It also includes meaningful family engagement opportunities, helping to strengthen the home-school connection and support student success from every angle.

At Amphi Middle, we believe in the promise of every student, and we promise to deliver the educational experiences children need to grow and flourish, from the first day of their kindergarten year to the day they walk across the stage and earn their high school diplomas. One of our core missions is to deliver on the Promise of a Graduate, instilling eight key skills and characteristics in our students as they grow from year to year. Those qualities are Scholarship, Creative Thinking, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, Caring and Citizenship.

Our school is proud to offer a one-to-one laptop program, ensuring every student has access to their own device for learning both in and out of the classroom. This initiative supports digital literacy, enhances collaboration, and gives students the tools they need to succeed in today’s tech-driven world. With access to cutting-edge educational software, online resources, and interactive learning platforms, our students are equipped to think critically, create boldly, and stay connected in a modern learning environment.
