Message from the Principal

Angela WichersDear Families,

I have been an educator for over two decades, beginning my career as a classroom teacher with ten years of experience teaching grades 3, 4, and 5. Since 2007, I have served as a school administrator at both the elementary and middle school levels. I have been proud to serve as the principal of Amphitheater Middle School since 2018.

I was born in Silver City, New Mexico, and earned my degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. My husband and I met in college and have been married since 1997. We moved to Tucson in 2002 and have raised our two children here.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, crafting, and traveling. It’s a privilege to be part of the Amphitheater community, and I’m committed to supporting our students, staff, and families in creating a positive and successful school experience

In partnership,

Angela Wichers
